St. Louis, MO – INTERTEL, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of medical canvassing data, announced today that effective January 12, 2015 Steven D. DeRossett has been named President of the organization.

The announcement was released today, by John T. Clarkson, INTERTEL’s Chief Executive Officer. In his new role, Mr. DeRossett will oversee the vast majority of day-to-day operations with a major emphasis on branding to maintain INTERTEL’s place as the industry leader in medical canvassing. Along with that, Mr. DeRossett will work tirelessly to keep INTERTEL at the forefront in the battle against insurance fraud through continued advancements in technology.

A 13-year INTERTEL veteran, Mr. DeRossett most recently served as Vice President of Client Services, where he was responsible for maintaining sales growth and launching client service initiatives.

With that in mind, over the past 7 years, Steve has secured many national agreements with several of the largest insurance organizations in the world including a strategic partnership with the National Insurance Crime Bureau in a joint effort to identify potentially fraudulent medical providers,” said Mr. Clarkson. “Steve’s experience in brand marketing and management, along with his knowledge of the industry, has allowed INTERTEL to realize unprecedented growth in annual revenues, thus making him a great choice to lead this organization.” Mr. Clarkson went on to say, “under Steve’s leadership, I’m confident INTERTEL will continue to grow, further solidifying our industry position as the market leader in providing medical background data.”
